BH Tank has manufactured Corrugated Galvanized Steel storage tanks since
1935. The value and durability of our corrugated tank products have endeared
the trust and confidence of thousands of satisfied customers throughout
the Western United States.
Corrugated tanks are the preferred choice to store groundwater for household
uses, irrigation and fire protection. They are available in various sizes
and capacities ranging from 1,000 to 150,000 gallons.
Tanks larger than 5000 gallons capacity are structurally engineered to
contain the volume and weight of water and offer resistance to external
conditions such as wind, seismic and snow loads as mandated by the Uniform
Building Code.
Groundwater Storage Tanks should be specified large enough to handle
peak demands and still retain a reserve independent of the rate of water
flow from the source (i.e. well, spring, filter system, pump, or other
water distribution system). Our expert sales staff can assist you with
proper tank sizing and accessory requirements.
Corrugated steel has nine (9) times the tensile strength of flat steel
and is superior in resistance to compressive loads. Corrugated steel is
especially resistant to the buckling and "mushrooming" that
can affect flat metal tanks during an earthquake. Corrugated tank seams
are overlapped and hand-riveted with solid steel rivets forming a double
thickness of steel that further enhances the lateral and vertical strength
of the tank.
Factory Coated
BH Tank's Corrugated Tanks are mill galvanized and factory coated providing
a multi-layer system of mechanical and cathodic protection.
We offer a variety of coating systems to meet a variety of project requirements,
applications and budgets.
Non-toxic bituminous clay compositions that permanently adhere to
galvanized steel.
Urethane polymer membrane coatings
Baked-on epoxy powder coatings
Industrial grade acrylic enamel exterior coating systems

PRE-ASSEMBLED TANKS
BH Tank can ship pre-assembled corrugated tanks
with capacities up to 15,000 gallons. We offer complete delivery
and installation services using our own equipment or specialized
carriers throughout the U.S. and Mexico.
BH Tank's Field Erected Corrugated Tanks are specified for storage requirements
between 10,000 to 150,000 gallon capacities. Corrugated tanks can be extremely
cost effective when compared to bolted or welded steel tanks of similar
capacities. We offer low-profile field erected tanks to meet seismic safety
standards without anchoring, saving the expense of a concrete foundation.
Installed on a contained gravel foundation, low-profile tanks resist seismic
forces without the need for seismic anchors. If anchoring is required
or requested, BH Tank can provide engineered tank and foundation design
with submittal drawings for building permits.
BH Tank's corrugated field erected tanks are assembled without the need
for heavy equipment or flammable materials. Corrugated tank components
can be trucked in, tractor carried or even dropped in by helicopter when
grading an access road is not possible or desirable.
Corrugated galvanized steel tanks have provided durable water storage
solutions for over a century. BH Tanks are designed with a minimum service
life of twenty years and come with a one year
manufacturer's warranty.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS FOR FIELD ERECTED WATER
STORAGE TANKS
Fire Protection Reserve Water Storage:
County and State Fire Departments recommend BH Tanks as economical
alternatives to bolted or welded water tanks for fire protection
storage.
Potable Domestic Water Supply:
Private and public water systems, campgrounds, and resorts use
BH Tanks for potable water storage applications.
Irrigation Water Storage:
Farms and ranches throughout the West rely on BH Tanks to maximize
the efficiency of water well production and to control distribution
and pumping cycles.
Waste Water Collection and Treatment:
Open top corrugated tanks can be utilized for commercial waste
water treatment and run-off water collection.
